	WORKSHOP   Join the SENSE Workshop 'Monitoring Droughts and Water Scarcity' The third SENSE workshop on Water Scarcity will take place on Tuesday 27 March. The theme of the workshop is “Monitoring Drought & Water Scarcity”, and focuses on the measuring and monitoring of droughts and water scarcity impacts.   EDUCATION   Master Hydrology awarded the title 'Top rated programme' The MSc Hydrology has been awarded the title 'Top rated programme 2018' (Topopleiding 2018). The Master programme is offered by the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and focuses on the hydrological system and its societal impacts: climate change, floods, drought, water pollution.    SYMPOSIUM   Invitation to the symposium Water & the City In the context of World Water Day 2018, the Environmental Humanities Center (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam) organises a symposium on Friday 23 March centered on the theme ‘Water & the City’, focusing on solutions and cultural practices of the past, and look forward to new forms of urban design and ‘hydrocitizenship’.
